About StatsToTable
A statistics tool for one specific job: turning a data file into a table a reviewer will accept.
What the service is
StatsToTable reads a .sav, .xlsx or .csv file, identifies the
statistical procedure your design calls for, runs the relevant assumption checks, and exports a
three-line table with an APA reporting sentence. Parsing, computation and export all take place in
your browser; no data file is transmitted to a server.
Intended users
The service is intended for researchers, postgraduate students and practitioners who need to report statistical results and do not have access to institutional statistical software. It is not intended for use as a primary analysis tool in regulated settings, and it is not a substitute for professional statistical advice.
Scope
Covered: independent and paired t tests, one-way and repeated-measures ANOVA, Mann–Whitney, Wilcoxon, Kruskal–Wallis, Friedman, chi-square, Fisher's exact test, Pearson and Spearman correlation, linear and logistic regression, and Cronbach's alpha.
Not covered: complex survey weights, multilevel and structural equation models, multinomial regression, post-hoc pairwise comparisons, and automatic interpretation of results. A full account is on the comparison page.
How accuracy is established
Each procedure is validated against published critical values, hand computation and independent numerical methods. The verification record lists every check with its numerical agreement and states the areas that have not been validated. The method notes document each statistical default.
No warranty is given that a result is correct for your purpose. See the disclaimer and section 6 of the terms of service.
Operator and contact
StatsToTable is operated under the name statstotable.com. Payments, tax and invoicing are handled by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. General enquiries, support and data requests: [email protected].
