StatsToTable

Terms of service

The agreement between you and StatsToTable.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using StatsToTable you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. StatsToTable is operated under the name statstotable.com.

2. The service

StatsToTable is a browser-based tool that reads data files, computes statistical procedures, performs assumption checks and generates exportable reports. Computation takes place on your device. No data file is transmitted to us.

3. Accounts, payment and subscriptions

The free tier permits unlimited analyses and one report export per calendar month. Pro is billed annually at the price displayed at checkout and removes the export limit. Payments, tax and invoicing are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, and Paddle's buyer terms apply in addition to these terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which is accepted before payment.

Before the payment page opens, two disclosures must be accepted: what the service does and does not do, and the refund policy. The accepted version is recorded with the transaction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell, sublicense or redistribute the service; circumvent export limits by automated means; interfere with the security or availability of the service; or use the service in breach of applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any data you analyse, including any ethics approval or consent required.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights in your data and in the reports you export, and may use, publish and license them without restriction or attribution. The software, source code, name, logo and documentation remain the property of the operator and are protected by copyright.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Statistical procedures are implemented using standard formulas and are validated against published values and independent numerical methods, as documented in the verification record. However, no warranty is given that any result is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Statistical software can produce plausible output from an inappropriate design or an unclean dataset. You are responsible for the analyses you publish and should verify material results independently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, research time, academic opportunity or profits, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached. Sections 5, 6, 7 and 10 survive termination.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected in the date above. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, you may request a refund under the refund policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts there.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, including any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
