Privacy policy

How StatsToTable handles personal data.

Last updated 2026-10-19

1. Overview

StatsToTable is a browser-based statistics service. Data files you open are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. Limited personal data is collected in connection with payments and standard web hosting. This policy explains what is collected and how it is used.

2. Data files

Files you open in the application are read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser. They are not uploaded, stored on a server, or used for any purpose other than producing the analysis shown to you. The application contains no request that transmits file contents.

3. Data stored on your device

The application uses your browser's local storage to retain saved analyses, a monthly count of report exports, and any Pro entitlement held on the device. This information stays in your browser and is deleted when you clear site data.

4. Personal data we collect

Card details are collected and stored by Paddle and are never received by us.

5. How we use personal data

Personal data is used to process payments, issue invoices, provide and restore access to paid features, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal and tax obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Before payment, the buyer accepts two disclosures — a description of the service and the refund policy. The version accepted and the time of acceptance are sent to Paddle with the transaction, so that the record of what was agreed is retained alongside the payment.

6. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or equivalent law applies, processing is based on: performance of a contract (providing the service you purchased), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and service reliability).

7. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or cross-site tracking. Paddle may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention; those cookies are controlled by Paddle and governed by Paddle's privacy notice.

8. Processors

We use the following processors: Paddle (payments, tax, invoicing, merchant of record) and Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, server logs and database). Both operate internationally, so data may be transferred outside your country under their standard contractual safeguards.

9. Retention

Purchase records are retained while the subscription is active and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are retained for a short operational period. Local analysis data remains on your device until you clear it.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold, and you may object to or request restriction of processing. Requests should be sent to [email protected].

Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be retained to satisfy a legal obligation. If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16, and personal data from children is not knowingly collected.

12. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date shown above.
